Concert et après spectacle

The concert last night at the Borderline was just brilliant, with New Orleans resident Ani DiFranco in top form. We enjoyed not only the nearly 100 minutes of superb and eclectic presentation of tunes combining sophisticated and mind-tickling lyrics and Ani's trademark staccatos by voice and guitar, but also the intimate post-show get-together at a nearby club. There we could witness that the singer does not only possess great performing gifts, but also an ever alert bright mind with great wit and eloquence. Emily and I were completely taken in by the bright star lightening up our dinner table.
